Descripción
Sumario:This article launches a reflection on the genesis of the punk movement in order to observe the failure of the established political meaning to the detriment of the cultural aestheticization imposed by the capitalist system. The punk movement emerged in the mid70s, in different parts of the world, as a political manifesto, counterculture, in response to the homogenization of the capitalist system in society. Therefore, we reflect in this study how the media industries appropriate aesthetics from the punk scene to re-update our imaginaries and our collective memories. To weave these reflections, authors from the most diverse fields of knowledge are mobilizers in order to understand the goals that culminated in the movement, in addition to a critical discussion around the relationship between the cultural industry and nostalgia. It is believed that dissatisfaction with the future, as it emerged in modernity, materializes in postmodernity in the search for a nostalgic sense of the aesthetic narratives adopted by the punk movement.
