| Sumario: | Objective: To reflect on the interfaces between Health Technologies (ST) and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Method: This is a reflective study on Health Technologies in the context of HSCT, based on the assumptions of Merhy, Orem, Collière, and Nietsche, Teixeira and Medeiros. Results: The use of ST qualifies the care processes provided to patients undergoing HSCT, as well as directing the reach to the health needs of each individual. The implementation of technologies must happen according to the work scenario and consider the experiences lived by professionals and patients and the context in which both are inserted. Conclusion: Nurses and other health professionals must keep themselves in constant professional updating and in tireless reflection on their know-how and how to transform and improve care processes, using technologies as support. |
