| Resumo: | The present study is contextualized during the COVID-19 pandemic period, addressing theoretical and practical aspects with regard to libraries and administrative adaptation, offering information resources. It addresses in the theoretical framework issues related to the new protocols developed by libraries in the pandemic period as well as the new forms of action of the librarian involving information and communication technologies. In this sense, it has the central objective of verifying how work activities in university libraries occurred in this new context. Based on this, it conducts a study on the website of the University Library of the Federal University of Ceará (BU-UFC) in order to raise the news from March 2020 to March 2021 and thus operationalize a content analysis to understand how it was the performance of BU-UFC. As a result, 100 news items presented and discussed in four categories were recovered: a) adaptation of administrative flows, b) information services and user training, c) dissemination of scientific information and d) cultural action. As a conclusion, it highlights the performance of the university library and librarians in several areas, with the purpose of continuing to provide information to the academic community. |
