Sumario:The central objective of this article is to address theoretical and empirical questions regarding of how to organize, spatially, the clothing industry present in the metropolitan region of Natal-RN, in the light of the urban economy"™s two circuits theory proposed by Milton Santos in the 1970"™s. For that, we created a discussion around the internal characteristics of the urban economy"™s superior and inferior circuits, addressing its interrelation with the space circuit of the clothing industry"™s production, since the productive stages of this circuit are developed in the urban space and are commanded by economic agents typical to the urban economy"™s circuits. At the end, we present a discussion around the configuration of the clothing industry"™s inferior circuit present in the city of Natal-RN. To better understand the theme, we collected the data using research in secondary fonts (web sites) and empirically in place. The theoretical contribution is reasoned on formulations made by Santos (2012) and on some of his mais interlocutors, such as Silveira (2004, 2009, 2015).
