Descripción
Sumario:This article discusses the features of the first edition of PHOTO magazine, launched in 1967 in France. In the following years, the publication has established itself as an aesthetic reference for photographers around the world, especially in the fields of art, fashion, eroticism and photo-journalism, editing the best professionals in the world. In this first issue is evident a certain ambiguity in its editorial proposal, because the magazine also makes room for sections intended for amateurs, both of photography, as film and sound. The cultural formation of the team of journalists - with strong connections to the art, surrealism and jazz - already pointed out, however, for increasing alignment with the forefront of photography, which eventually confirmed in the magazine’s history.
