Sumario:This paper to analyze the relation between the agrarian reform and the family agriculture to promote sustainability in the countryside. It’s an assay aiming the approximaion of themes, which are central in the debate concerning the rural developmente. Thus, there was an effort to reflect about the problem of sustainability, or developmente alternatives: ecodevelopmente, human development ahd the sustainable developemente, characterizing historical and political issuses of the moment, these models emerge. In this approach the agrarian reform based on the family agriculture and in the agroecology, emerges as a perspective of construct of empiric references, which may illustrate possibilities of societary arrangement, grounded in the sustainability principles of the richness distribution.
