| Sumario: | The theme of organizational inclusion and diversity emerges as a response to social pressure from various groups. However, organizations have come to perceive diversity as a source of competitive differentiation. The aim of this study is to interpret the relationship between ethnic-racial organizational diversity and competitive advantage. Employing a qualitative approach, this research utilized bibliographic review and literature review as methodological procedures. The results indicate that the reviewed literature indiscriminately attributes competitive advantages arising from other forms of diversity to ethnic-racial diversity. Only one analyzed text identified specific positive factors related to ethnic-racial diversity. In light of these results, we propose criticism for companies neglecting the management of the impact of ethnic-racial diversity and the black underrepresentation in the social framework. This study contributes to outlining the Brazilian scientific framework on the subject and establishing sources of competitive advantage associated with ethnic-racial diversity practices. |
