Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance of the Irrigameter and methods to estimate the evapotranspiration of reference, with the method of Penman-Monteith - FAO 56. To the estimate of the ET0 by empirical methods it was obtained climatic data of an automatic meteorological station installed in the Campus of the Federal Institute of Bahia, located in the city of Guanambi - BA. To estimate the ET0 through Irrigameter, it was used six equipments with levels of water within the evaporation pot equal to 3 and 4 cm, which took place in the daily readings of evaporated lamina water. To compare the values of ET0 measured in Irrigameter with those estimated by empirical equations with the standard method Penman-Monteith (FAO56) it was considered the parameters of the regression equation (a and b), the determination coefficient (r²), the estimative of standard error (EEP), the index of agreement (d), index of confidence or performance (c). The best methods to estimate evapotranspiration of reference were: Radiation - FAO 24, Modified Penman - FAO 24 and Irrigameter operating with equal water level to 3 cm.
