| Sumario: | The massive migration experienced by Venezuela includes the exodus of qualified personnel, including part of its university faculty. In general, there are frequent reports of discrimination against migrants, which is why this research was conducted with the objective of exploring the perception of discrimination that university professors of Venezuelan origin have in their migratory experience in the host countries. For this purpose, an ad hoc questionnaire was constructed, with closed and open questions, which was answered by a non-probabilistic sample of 277 people, located in different parts of the world. The results indicate that most of this group of teachers have not suffered discrimination for reasons of ethnicity, gender, political ideas or disability, but have suffered discrimination for being a foreigner. |
