| Resumo: | Communication is one of the differentials of the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra (MST). Through a consolidated communications policy, it aims to gain more visibility and gain support from society for their causes and actions. From the detailed observation of journalism practiced by one of the most vehement critics of the so called mainstream media, in this work we aim to understand how the Revista Sem Terra supposedly appropriates the discursive strategies of the media field and to realize a legitimate journalistic discourse information can to operate in the social construction of reality. With the theoretical framework based on authors like Gohn (2007), Bourdieu (2007), Peruzzo (2008), Naughty (2005), Sponholz (2009), Sousa (2005), Melo (2003), the main categories for our analysis were presented. The method chosen was to Discourse Analysis, as pragmatic procedures, also for being concerned with the context of the utterance will be used to try to understand the intentions of speakers. According to authors like Maingueneau (2001), Foucault (2003), Bakhtin (1997) and Charaudeau (2006), was performed to analyze the empirical material. Far from advocating a purist vision of alternative communication, with the same discursive strategies of the commercial media, publication constructs a reality that legitimizes the MST. |
