| Sumario: | The aim of this paper was the investigation of the absorption of the concepts of this specific game, along with the declarative knowledge that should be taught to them by their coaches and the comparison of indoor soccer practice in years and the categories. The sample contained 37 players from a well-known football club in Rio de Janeiro, 10 from under 9 category, 16 from under 11 and 11 from under 13, all of them were participating in the most important indoor soccer competition. For the Declarative Tactical Knowledge (DTK) a questionnaire was answered by the athletes and corrected based on Giacomini's score (2011), compared with their coaches answers and then the results were presented as percentage of success. The average of success in under 9 category was 85,94%, in under 11 was 93,36% and in under 13 was 90,34%. The general average was 89,88%. Given this result, it can be concluded that the practice time is not the only factor for the increase of DTK, because there is also a big influence of the methods applied by coaches that must take into account both the motor and cognitive training, leading their athletes into a better tactical knowledge. |
