Sumario:This article takes up aspects of Freire's thinking, that is tinted and complexing over time, to highlight how Paulo Freire elaborates a theory of education in which he reflects on the ways in which the pedagogical, thought from the pedagogical relationship between educator and student, the politician, thought from the social relations of the production and reproduction of power, relate. From there it is argued that, the current multi-crisis context, this legacy is essential to better understand and grasp the social forces that contribute to the creation of the situation of the oppressed, that is, the one in which individuals and collectives are excluded from participating, imbricating and interfering, in the decisions of political, economic and social power centres.
