| Sumario: | This article presents reflections on youth and digital culture. It was decided to approach the meme textual genre and its relations with contemporary youth, specifically with students of the first grade of New High School (NEM) in the context of the Elective Curricular Component “Digital Culture” of a school in the south of Santa Catarina. Therefore, pedagogical practices and their possibilities with the use of the meme textual genre are presented and analyzed from the perspective of Critical Digital Literacy. It was verified that the practice allows the appropriation of the capacities of analysis and interpretation of the memes. I understand memes as a form of communication, very widespread on the internet, especially among young people, as it uses images and short phrases or videos. |
