| Sumario: | Abstract: From the interweaving of ethnographic occurrences and social studies of memory, this article discusses several of the social and theoretical presuppositions that support the alignment of cultures, memories and identities. We explore non-dictatorial supports of remembering practices that point less to an effort to retain the past than to memorize the future. The aim is to identify from what perceptual and practical historicity regimes the work of memory works among members of the Mapuche-Tewelche people of the Northern Patagonia of Argentina. Key Words: Mapuche-Tewelche people; memorization practices; non-discursive memories |
