| Sumario: | This paper reports the results of an investigation that examined whether the use of gamesassociated to the problem solving methodology can contribute to the teaching and learning of basicprobability concepts. The research was carried out in four classrooms of the second year of high schoolat a public school from the countryside of the state of São Paulo. The results indicate that the use ofthis teaching proposal can help the learning process and make lessons more pleasant and participativefor the students. The students in turn become active participants in the development of their ownknowledge. |
