Sumario:Considering that studies indicate the subject as main input of grammaticalized nominal forms to pronominal system of Brazilian Portuguese, this work aims to analyze the productivity of ‘você’ in context of ‘complementation’ and ‘adjunction’ to verb and noun. The structures of ‘accusative’, ‘dative’, ‘oblique complement’ and ‘oblique adjunct’ trigged by verbal predicates will be examined, also the ‘complementation’ and ‘adjunction’ correlated to nominal predicators. This analysis is methodologically guided by Labovian sociolinguistic (LABOV, 1994) focusing on formal written recorded in family letters from Minas Gerais (Brazil) composed in 20th century. The results show a major use of ‘você’ in contexts of complementation, projected mainly by verbal predicates. As concern the syntactic functions more conducive to the use of innovative ‘você’, the highest percentage rates are ‘dative’ to those forms triggered by verbal nuclei and complement to those forms triggered by nominal nuclei.
