Sumario:Using the methodology of integrative review, this text proposes to analyze some contributions of Psychoanalysis to the development of the Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) clinic with children, analyzing the magazine Styles da Clínica - USP. In this article, we ask about the therapeutic companion (AT), its functions and the possibility of connection with the child's desire in psychological distress. Thirteen articles on Accompaniment and Childhood published in Revista Estilos da Clínica were analyzed. From an interpretative reading, 3 categories were built: Therapeutic Accompaniment (structure, training and ethics of the device); Therapeutic Accompaniment with typical and atypical children and; Therapeutic Accompaniment with autistic, psychotic or undiagnosed children.
