| Resumo: | This article aims to carry out a literary-musical dialogue between the album “20 Palavras ao redor do sol” by multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer Cátia de França with works by the poet João Cabral de Melo Neto. Based on the album's title, which refers us to a poem entitled “Graciliano Ramos”, we are suggested to check the singer's work in order to find other goat traces in the songs, as well as other literary evidence. The singer Cátia de França in an interview says that all her work is based on literature. Thus, our objective in this article is to scrutinize the songs from the album 20 Palavras ao redor do sol and understand their links with literature, their literary-musical exercise.
