Sumario:In this article we present the pedagogical aspects of the biographies and of the moral writings by Plutarch pointing out especially Plato’s contribution to Plutarch’s conception of Paideia. We indicate traces of the platonic philosophy in Plutarch’s biographees, followed by the author’s moral treaties written with the purpose to educate the readers and listeners.
