| Resumo: | This paper aims to present the results of a survey that focused on the investigation ofthe meaning of being teacher for graduating students of Faculty of Education. The issue arose from concerns about the new direction that the Faculty of Education has taken the Faculty of Education after the publication of the new Curriculum Guidelines, which broke with the identity of a course that formed the bachelor and licensed by privileging the last training compromise the vision of being a pedagogue. The research is characterized as qualitative and quantitative in that work the questionnaires with closed and open questions. From the analysis, it was found that students believe in their profession as a way of contributing to the betterment of society chose the area because they like what they do and feel satisfied by it. |
