Sumario:The actual scenario of changing and uncertainty climate reinforce the importance of water resources monitoring. Changes in the precipitation patterns can affect the surface water, increasing the demand for groundwater resources. Groundwater use planning is not always included in the water management plans, for lack of reliable studies about the aquifer systems or efficient monitoring strategies. The Bauru Aquifer System (BAS) is one of the major groundwater reservoirs in the western paulista. This work presents the application of models based on climate data and water table depths monitoring series of BAS in the municipality of Assis/SP-Brazil. The proposed modelling characterized the BAS dynamic in relation to seasonality variations, subsidizing the understanding of the recharge processes in the region and the water management itself.
