Descripción
Sumario:With the increasing flow of data, there is concern about the protection of this data, there is also talk of surveillance capitalism, infocracy and obscurity regarding the use of algorithms on digital platforms. The strong influence of Big Techs (Google, Apple, Facebook/Meta, among others) on society's behavior, as well as on decision-making, including electoral decisions, is visible. Thus, the study was carried out using the hypothetical-deductive method, through bibliographical research, given the problem regarding infocracy and its influence on elections in the information society, with questions regarding the existence of an algorithmic coronelism that guides the formation of electoral decisions.
