Sumario:The intention of the present study was to measure and to evaluate the variations of the hormones concentrations of testosterone and cortisol during power trainings with two series of ten repetitions. Four individuals of the masculine sex had participated of the study, with ages between 21 and 24 years. The data had been collected in one single day. For attainment of the referring data to the physical characteristics of the individuals (weight and stature) it was used a Welmy scale model 110 (0.1kg) and a height measurer WCS with 220 cm and for the hormones analyses was used the method of electrochemioluminescence. The trainings were carried through of 7h to 8h30, in which had carried through a set of dynamic exercises with 10 repetitions 70% of 1 RM with two minutes of interval. The hormones concentrations had been measured immediately before and after the session of trainings. To analyse the data it was used average and the shunting line standard of the hormones taxes. From the evidences found in this study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to increase the number of individuals in the samples in order to improve the statistics, because in the analysis of the testosterone exist a discrepant value; and the variation of the sanguine concentration of cortisol was very small, indicating that the intensity of training session (2x10 70% of RM) were insufficient to provoke a reply of stress.
