| Sumario: | In a period of rapid transformation and high uncertainty about the future, this research identified in the practices of emergency remote teaching (ERT) in physical education during social isolation due to the COVID-19, the challenges and the learning of teachers and their expectations of integration of digital information and communication technologies (TDIC) in future teaching. This exploratory study was carried out with 33 physical education teachers who answered an online form. Most teachers use WhatsApp to direct assignments, record videos and audios, use videos and texts from the Internet. They also expressed the challenges and professional learning related to the ERT and said that they intend to integrate more TDICs into teaching in the future. The COVID-19 pandemic forced a reinvention or adaptation in the teaching-learning process in physical education, mediated by digital technologies. However, social inequalities reflect strongly on access to such technologies. |
