| Resumo: | Introduction: The interest in the topic arose during internships carried out in oncology units and also due to the need to understand the complexity of nursing care in monitoring women with mastectomies with phantom breast syndrome. Objective: to describe nursing action in phantom breast syndrome in mastectomized women. Method: This is an Integrative Literature Review. The search for documentary data was carried out by accessing the following databases: Virtual Health Library, articles between 2019 and 2024. Results: 105 articles were catalogued, of which seven articles were selected for discussion. Discussion: nursing actions are important activities for the treatment process of mastectomized women with phantom breast syndrome, both in the hospital environment and during rehabilitation in the home environment. Conclusion: nursing professionals play an important role in providing support to women undergoing mastectomies with phantom breast syndrome, providing comfort and helping to restore patients' self-esteem in the recovery process, in addition to assisting in treatment. |
