Descripción
Sumario:As an interdisciplinary knowledge area, tourism comprises categories and methodologies from other sciences, among them Geography. Within geographic science, more specifically Critical Geography, whose characteristic is the complex analysis of the dialectical relationships between society, individual and environment, which necessarily take place in a territory. For the analysis of this, and therefore, of tourism territories, the paper will use a category that, over more than thirty years of research and works, was conceived and developed by the geographer Milton Santos: used territory. This paper has the premise of making the dialogue between tourism and geography and, within this theoretical- epistemological integration, establishing, as an analytical parameter, the category of territory used as a basis for understanding the territory in the tourism.
