| Sumario: | The thesis defended here will be as follows: Droysen’s reflection constitutes a topical configuration for politic al modernity in general, a juncture during which it is about making historical (methodically regulated) sciences and publicly produced historical cultures “royal science” of a whole political (though not exclusively political) propaedeutic. Henceforth, during this singular moment, it is necessary to argue the need to found a new political culture, namely, that of a liberal and prudential political rationalism, as self-historicizing and self-reflexive. |
