Sumario:Cultural Astronomy is a field of research dedicated to the study of how different people around the world perceive, interpret and incorporate astronomical phenomena into their culture. Thus, it focuses on the relationships between human societies and the cosmos, exploring how people from different cultures observe, understand and attribute meanings to celestial events.  Cultural Astronomy can be used to introduce the teaching of indigenous culture in schools, as provided for in legislation, which has aroused the interest of educators in studies on the subject. In this work, we use qualitative bibliographical research to explore aspects of scientific production on the teaching of Cultural Astronomy. The main goal is exploring the topic of Cultural Astronomy by analysing research trends and themes present in articles published in annals of events in the area and, specifically, answer the questions “What are the predominant themes in the discussion about the teaching of Cultural Astronomy?” and “How have the challenges for Teaching Cultural Astronomy been addressed?” The research was carried out using the Google Scholar database, using the terms “Cultural Astronomy” AND “Teaching” as descriptors, taking the period from 2015 to 2023 as a time frame. From the reading of the selected texts, sociodemographic information of the production, identifying the topics covered as well as the types of research developed. The results show that production is still incipient, even considering the need to discuss the topic both for the purposes of curricular updating and for compliance with relevant legislation.
