| Sumario: | This paper aims to analyze the discursive functioning of three scientific journals, in the area of Religious Studies, which deal with the theme epistemology. For this, we analyzed in the editorials of these journals general statements used to designate the main problems related to the theme that are faced in the scope of the Religious Studies in Brazil. The central question of our investigation is to know to what ideological configurations these difficulties can be referred and what meanings are mobilized each time the term epistemology is taken up. With this, we intend to point out, in the speeches, the ideological positions at stake and their effects in this debate. |
