| Sumario: | Objective: Objective: to identify and characterize the most relevant aspects of management for carrying out preventive maintenance in hospital environments. Method: to carry out an integrative literature review by searching the Web of Science, SCOPUS and Science Direct databases, with the following descriptors: "preventive maintenance" AND hospital. Including original articles, review articles and those published in congresses between 2016 and 2021, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and that answered the guiding question. Results: 17 articles were included, all of which were published in English and originated in different countries. There has been a greater number of publications in the last three years, in an increasing way. The Journal of Building Engineering was the one with the most publications, with five in total. Conclusion: The studies analyzed in this review present solutions and tools that help and guide hospital maintenance, the following most relevant tools and aspects were highlighted: reliability, performance criteria, availability, impacts on care, costs, corrective maintenance culture, frequency and form of software management. |
