| Summary: | Objective: To describe the work on Reiki complementary therapy in the field of worker health. Methodology: Integrative review, which used the Virtual Health Library databases, with selection of LILACS, PubMed and SciELO databases, with a time frame between 2012 and 2022. The total of 10,395 productions were identified for all descriptors used in this study. Research, but according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 05 articles were identified and selected as relevant to the study. Results: The selected productions that contemplated the research demonstrated the importance of Reiki in the issue of quality of life, care and the need for greater knowledge in the use of this integrative practice aiming at the health of the worker. Conclusion: Reiki is an important tool in worker care, a technique that has benefits, a holistic view of the human being and because it is low cost, it facilitates its implementation. Through the results of the analyzed productions, it was evident that the research subjects showed improvement in the symptoms reported before the Reiki therapy sessions. Thus, Reiki promoted improvements in the subjects' quality of life. The review revealed that there are few studies that seek to prove the effectiveness of care provided using Reiki as an intervention, especially in the field of worker health. |
