| Sumario: | This article is aimed to enlarge the discussion about both the indications and limitations of the brief psychodynamic psychotherapies as well as the possibilities in the technical management which are permitted by them. In order to establish the bases to discuss the psychic change mechanisms, the paper coments the meaning of the therapeutic process and the intended objectives in the psychotherapy. This discussion offers a broad view on the curative factors pointed out in different forms of brief psychodynamic psychotherapies, including both the more restrictives in their indications and the wider ones. The conclusion points out the importance on emphasizing the more suitable curative factors to the resources presented by both therapist and patient to achieve an attainable objective. |
