Descripción
Sumario:Jurimetrics, as statistical studies carried out in legal databases are called, has been recognized for its ability to contribute to the transparency of the judicial system, providing unbiased analysis and making the abnormalities and standards that permeate legal decisions explicit. In this sense, the objective of this paper is to identify patterns associated with the decisions of the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region (TRF4). This is a jurimectric study that used multivariate quantitative methods on judgments made available in 2018 by TRF4. The results show that votes in favor of the demands are associated with appeals and private law persons; the votes that partially met the demands, formed standards with the reexaminations and, the substitute judges; most of the unfavorable votes were found in unanimous decisions, handed down by appellate judges, in embargoes demanded, and demands brought by people of public law.
