Descrição
Resumo:The present study carried out by the research group of new materials and technology for construction was aimed at analyzing the mechanical performance of different mortar traces with percentages of replacement of the small aggregate by construction waste (RCC). The use of the same in partial replacement of the aggregates is an alternative to give it an ecologically correct purpose, considering that for the production of mortars, large part of the components is the sand itself. The strokes were: 1: 1: 6, 1: 2: 6, 1: 1: 8 and 1: 2: 8. The percentages of substitution used were 10%, 20% and 30%, by mass, when compared with the reference trait. The tests of compressive strength, flexural tensile strength, consistency and water retention were performed at the UNIJUÍ Civil Engineering Laboratory. It was concluded that there is applicability of this new mixture as alternative material for insertion in the civil construction market, having a positive result in mechanical resistance.
