Sumario:This paper presents a conducted survey in four Brazilian databases and a brief analysisabout researches identified with the themes which are Beginner Teachers from the period of 2000 to 2010. The investigated database were ANPEd meetings – Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação and researches in education in GT 8 – Teacher training, Brazilian Educational magazine, Brazilian Magazine of Education, Education and Society Brazilian magazine and The Brazilian magazine of Pedagogical Studies. The selection of papers were conducted by investigating the existence of related descriptors with the term Beginner Teacher in titles, abstracts and/or whole work. Throughout this study, we have found that the proposed theme has little expressiveness to research in the field of Teacher Training. However, researches on the subject have presented important findings emphasizing that this is an important step in professional teacher development and to be little explored there are still many aspects to be analyzed which could contribute to it is not identified as a complex step.
