Descripción
Sumario:The wildlife watching, which encompasses watching wild animals in their natural habitats, is an activity that can be undertaken in conservation units. Besides offering economic benefits, this practice contributes to physical and mental health. The aim of this study was to present data on wildlife watching in a protected area, which allows daytime visits and also offers nighttime activities. For the development of this work, a multi-method approach was adopted, combining in loco observation, analysis of previously published studies, and images from security cameras at Vila Velha State Park (Paraná State). Consequently, it was concluded that the conservation unit has potential for wildlife observation, although it does not yet offer activities specifically structured for this practice.
