De aetatibus is a theological work, presenting, in its 14 Books, what would be the ages of the world and of the human being from the Christian moral perspective of Fulgentius. It so happens that, in each section of this writing, the lipogrammer avoids the use of a certain letter, which was done from ‘a’ to ‘o’. In this sixth part, now translated, the Hebrew Exodus is described poetically without the use of lexical units containing the letter 'f', which was cultivated in the proposed target text, which started from the critical edition established by the Latinist philologist Rudolf Helm (FULGENTII, 1898).Esta é a primeira tradução lipogramática e também a primeira para a língua portuguesa do sexto Livro da De aetatibus mundi et hominis, que é considerada o mais antigo lipograma que chegou até nós. Essa obra é atribuída a Fábio Plancíades Fulgêncio, um escritor africano pertencente à Antiguidade Tardia, um período ainda pouco investigado em pesquisas desenvolvidas em nosso idioma. A De aetatibus é uma obra de cunho teológico, apresentando, em seus 14 Livros, aquelas que seriam as idades do mundo e do ser humano a partir da perspectiva moral cristã de Fulgêncio. Ocorre que, em cada seção desse escrito, o lipogramista evita o emprego de uma determinada letra, o que foi realizado de ‘a’ a ‘o’.
