Resumo:Treatment of ceramic pieces, either archaeological or contemporary nature in Brazil from the point of view of conservation and restoration, still does not use materials or methodologies appropriate to the ceramic support. Adhesive Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA), commonly used in restoration works in wood, is also present in the pieces in ceramics, often mixed with ground ceramic, or pigmented. This work has asobjective to present and disseminate methodologies and materials appropriate to the work of intervention process that are supported by the clay, from the experience lived by the author in Mexico.
