Sumario:The debate on issues involving corruption in Brazil and the perception of the phenomenon by Brazilians have been gaining prominence in contemporary literature in the areas of Law and Political Science. This paper aims to analyse how administrative morality serves the fight against corruption and accountability of the State, as an integral part of the anti-corruption agenda developed in Brazil. The methodology used is exploratory research and investigation of the mechanisms for monitoring and investigating crimes of administrative improbity, provided for by law and expanded in the period from 2011 to 2015. The objective is to verify the important role of administrative morality as an instrument to fight corruption in the country, although there are institutional and political obstacles that make it impossible to effectively realise the constitutional principle.
