| Resumo: | This article is the result of a systematic bibliographic review on (auto)biographical narratives as research methodology, carried out at the brasilian jornal called “Revista Brasileira de Pesquisa (Auto)Biografica” (RBPAB). We analyzed the articles published between 2016 and 2019. This study aims to analyze how the articles published in the journal have discussed theoretical-methodological and epistemological aspects of (auto) biographical research. Studies have shown adiversity of elements to conceptualize narratives as research methodology thatare in line with the uniqueness of individuals, considering their relationships with experiences to new configurations regard to the conection between narrator and researcherindicating the importance of the researcher's involvement in the research. We also realized that relationship researcher / narrator should be built in the process to establish trust. In order to make the transformation movement of biographical sources into research data it is also necessary the narrator participation. The journal “Revista Brasileira de Pesquisa (Auto)biográfica” presents works by authors experienced in the area, with relevant discussions for researchers interested in the topic. |
