Following, the Kantian concepts of happiness and prudence (klugheit) are analysed, exposing the radical separation between morality and happiness, understood as an activity that aims the satisfaction of the inclinations and the subjective welfare. Finally, one tries to compare such conceptions, emphasizing that the Kantian criticisms of eudaimonism do not directly affect the Aristotelian ethics, because the way the modern philosopher understood the concept of happiness does not represent the position defended by the Stagirite.O trabalho visa comparar os conceitos de felicidade e prudência, bem como analisar alguns contrapontos críticos, respectivamente, em Aristóteles e Kant. Inicialmente, apresenta-se a concepção aristotélica de felicidade (eudaimonia) como contemplação racional, relacionando-a com a prudência (phrónesis) compreendida como a virtude de deliberar bem sobre o que é bom. Na sequência, analisam-se os conceitos kantianos de felicidade e prudência (Klugheit), expondo a radical separação entre moralidade e felicidade, entendida como uma atividade que objetiva a satisfação das inclinações e o bem-estar subjetivo.
