Descrição
Resumo:This article analyzes the investigative practices carried out by the “Comissão de Investigação Sumária” in Pernambuco to prosecute, punish and convict a number of civilian citizens considered subversive in the early months of the 1964 military dictatorship. In addition to interviews with former political prisoners who were investigated by the commission, the summary investigation surveys are also analyzed, through which it is possible to understand how the production and selection strategies of the tests worked, their validation criteria and the objectives that moved the actions of the commission. The documentation shows that the maininterest of the investigations was to promote the political revoke of the citizens who were against the military dictatorship established in 1964.
