| Sumario: | In this text, we seek to inventory the electoral campaigns of Afro-religious, Catholic and Evangelical candidates for the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (ALEP) in 2022, analyzing how these agents built their strategies by mobilizing sacred elements in the structuring and legitimization of their candidacies. There are 138 politicians who used these resources during the electoral period, identified from materials published on their Facebook and Instagram profiles and pages, such as e-flyers, videos, photos and lives. We identified the intensive use of lexical, symbolic and performative signs in the construction of political identities, with similarities and differences between the style and form of the presence of religious elements in the three groups of candidates. The 2022 elections in Paraná show constant and intense dialogues between the religious and political fields. |
