| Sumario: | The aim of this essay is to identify elements to analyze the evolution of plant design of apartment in Curitiba, with emphasis on the work of architect Elgson Ribeiro Gomes. It is considered the early designs of apartments in the city, and the transition to a moment of greater specialization of its authors, with qualitative evolution in the design of plants. The method considers a double strategy, with bibliographical and analytical approach, from mapping of the plants to their redesign in the form of synthetic diagrams. Plant analysis makes it possible to identify different design elements and increase understanding of the reasons for their changes over time.
