| Sumario: | Studying the theories of teaching and learning, understanding them, and defining the best strategies to be used in the classroom, given the variety of student realities present, has been a topic of study in education for a long time. In this sense, some theories stand out in relation to others, such as the Theory of Meaningful Learning (TAS) developed by David Ausubel. Although this is not a novelty in the educational environment, it is not yet widespread in Brazil, for this reason, this manual emerges as a good source of instruction on this important theory, serving as a means for its dissemination, explaining its history, main important points that define it and how to use them in the teaching-learning process, in addition to bringing teaching strategies, practical activities, article suggestions and discussions on the subject to further facilitate the understanding of the same by teachers. The objective of this manual is to serve as a guide in the process of continuing education for teachers, in addition to helping trainers in the process, clarifying that although it brings activities aimed at phylogenetic systematics, it can be applied in any subject area and content, providing great support for educators so that they can develop their own practices and teaching strategies from then on. |
