Sumario:Talking about the expansion of the meaning of cultural heritage in recent decades and the consequent increase in the need for interventions for the conservation and restoration of these assets, a greater understanding of the disciplinary fields involved in these practices is important. Considering Italy, the country of restoration, as a highlight in discussions related to the concepts of heritage and monuments, as well as what leads to theoretical-methodological project choices, this research brings some analyzes of recent restoration cases there. Thereby, it contributes to the deepening of conservation and restoration studies, by advancing the debate on these themes.
