| Summary: | With the launch of the Zero Hunger Program - PFZ by President Lula, it was observed that was placed on the national agenda the eradication of hunger and poverty as an imperative for every society, given that the issue in question in many moments of Brazilian history was banned and / or placed as nonexistent. MESA, which was later transformed into the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger - - to promote substantial changes in 2003, the Ministry of Food Security was created MDS, which through the National Secretariat for Food and Nutritional Security - SESAN, and other departments, is responsible for the coordination and implementation of policies and programs for food and nutrition security - SAN. In this context the programs of popular restaurants, Community Kitchens and Food Bank as a strategy of creating a network of public food and nutrition emerged to ensure the human right to adequate food - adequate food for everyone (as). It is emphasized that the object of this Article permeates one embraced by MDS programs belonging to the axis of the local political PFZ. That object is the Popular restaurant - RP Maracanaú belonging to the municipal food and nutritional security of the said municipality. |
