Sumario:In Futsal there are few studies concerning analysis the match period in which more goals tend to occur. This way, this quantitative and descriptive research aims at to analyze the periods of highest occurrence of scored and suffered goals by the Nova Itaberaba/SC's team of futsal, under category under-17 of the 2013/2014 Santa Catarina Championship. The sample consisted of the 25 matches from a futsal club under-17 category, in the city of Nova Itaberaba / SC. The scoresheets of the cited matches were used as instruments of data collect. Each match was divided into four periods: first (from 0 to 10min), second (from 10min01s to 20min), third (from 20min01s to 30min), and fourth period (from 30 min01s to 40min). After data were analyzed, it was verified that scored goals occurred: 20.45% in the first period, 25% in the second period, 31.82% in the third period, and 22.73% in fourth period. On the other hand, the goals suffered occurred: 17.40% in the first period, 25.21% in the second period, 27.82% in the third period, and 29.57% in fourth period. Consequently, it is possible to conclude that most scored goals occurred in the 3rd period and suffered goals occurred in the 4th period, corroborating most research on this topic.
