| Sumario: | This article intends to discuss, in the light of historical experience, the uses of memory and forgetfulness, within the perspective of forgetfulness or confiscated memory. The purpose of such reflections is to think about the memory-forgetting confrontation posed by various social and political actors in Latin American countries who, in the recent past, suffered experiences of National Security dictatorships, here considered as concrete limit situations for involving practices of extermination, disappearance and state terror. |
