| Sumario: | This text is a prequel and sequel to my doctoral thesis: “The (auto)biographical mediation of media competence. The (auto)biographical audiovisual story as a method and methodology to introduce students to the development of (auto)reflexive and (auto)expressive skills of media competence. Case studies in Spain, Brazil and Colombia”. It is a prequel insofar as it allows me to give clarity to some of the theoretical and conceptual principles previously addressed in several of my research and experimentations, in order to give greater consistency to the epistemological and methodological universe of my thesis. In that sense, it is a new reflection, a product of retrospective imagination, a flashback, a look back. And it is a sequel insofar as this reflection arises two years after publishing my thesis, when I have had the opportunity to discern more carefully the results of recent observations. |
